Version 4.7.0 opens each new session with animated glass forecast cards, sunrise, sunset, moon and twilight. Orbit Glass gauges stay above the outlook. HookEcho radar remains one click away. The Local signals, 48-hour model section and Outdoor activity windows have been removed from Weather. Reduced-motion preferences remain respected.
Version 4.6.1 brings compact gauges into the full HookEcho radar. Orbit Glass is the default, with Liquid Chrome, Neon Trace, Precision Dial, and Pixel Pulse available on every screen. Forecast models, saved places, sensor channels, environmental sources, archive imports, notes, exclusions, recovery and reports are included, alongside more reliable weather refreshes and station switching.
Samsung Smart Hub and Chromebook browsers now open the lighter StormDesk interface with weather, alerts, still radar, and basic History. AMD Linux AppImages use a safer rendering path, and new x86-64 and ARM64 browser-mode packages avoid GTK and WebKit.
The AppImage now starts as a tileable window on Omarchy and Hyprland, so StormDesk can share the screen with another app. KWin keeps its first-frame maximization workaround. The dashboard and station data are unchanged.
Weather, Radar, and History now use the simpler three-destination layout. Nine gauges stay fixed, History opens with snapshot cards, Radar focuses on the HookEcho map, and new installations start in OLED black with four other themes available in Settings.
The browser app now uses a compact conditions card, up to ten forecast days, a central HookEcho radar panel, eight readings, and local signals with astronomy and device health. A local clock sits beside the official alert banner. Ten dark themes ship together, with Graphite Silver as the fresh-install default and existing choices preserved.
The 4.7.0 installers and current hosted app share the forecast-first dashboard and all five gauge styles. Station collection and local archive tools run on your installed desktop or server.
